The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it truly is alarmed regarding the high range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to service the area daily. The provider position designed for intervention activities a high influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult to the Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In here this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to empower the servicing of all customers and boost use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
